FirstChoice Staffing opened its doors in 1999 in response to the failure of other staffing firms to focus directly on client needs. FirstChoice has spent the last decade delivering on its original commitment to assist clients pro-actively in job placements and to serve as a reliable, affordable source of qualified personnel.

As a result of the company's commitment to quality and individualized service, FirstChoice has enjoyed continued growth in an economic climate that has forced competing firms to close offices, lay off personnel, merge with other agencies, or shut down altogether. Owner Michael Stuart ensures customer satisfaction by his personal involvement in all steps of recruiting and employee placement.

Q: How do you screen your employees?

A: FirstChoice Staffing will work with your company to design a full screening program that includes any or all of the following features:
  · 5-panel or 10-panel drug screens featuring     either instantaneous results or laboratory     protocol (pre-employment or random)
  · Criminal background checks
  · Past employment verification (focusing on     attendance, work attitude, and performance     rating)

Q: What happens if I experience absenteeism and still need to continue production?

A: FirstChoice Staffing maintains listings of available candidates. We immediately contact people in our database, discuss your opportunity with them, and schedule them accordingly. We confirm their arrival and maintain subsequent contact to ensure their suitability.

Q: What if I need people on the weekends or holidays?

A: Just telephone 248-895-9272 and we will arrange for your workers to arrive when you need them.

Q: When and how do you pay your employees?

A: FirstChoice Staffing can pay employees weekly or bi-weekly, with or without direct deposit of paychecks. We also can distribute payroll on individually scheduled pay dates.

Q: How does your invoicing work?

A: FirstChoice Staffing charges an hourly rate for each employee that is assigned to your company. Calculations begin with this figure and factor in all applicable employer / employee taxes (Social Security, federal / state/ local taxes, unemployment and workers' compensation coverage) and include completion of W-2 forms for individual tax reporting. Invoices will be mailed to your company on a weekly basis.
